A Faithful Steward

What does a faithful steward look like? First, a faithful steward moves away from ownership to stewardship.  Being a faithful steward is based on two main concepts: a faithful steward is both a diligent earner and a prudent spender.

It’s okay to make money, and it’s good to thrive. Growing and expanding is good, but it always belongs to the Master.

We make decisions based on emotions, and none is more evident than in our spending habits. A prudent spender prioritizes spending. A faithful steward can tell you where the money was spent but also why. A prudent spender is, first, a generous giver and, second, a wise saver. Being prepared for your future does not make you greedy. Lastly, a prudent spender is a cautious debtor.
